CNC turning

WithIn the field of high precision machining, our company, Meccanica RC, offers services in NUMERICAL CONTROL (CNC) TURNING.

Our workshop is located in Palazzuolo sul Senio, in the province of Florence, and has state-of-the-art machinery for CNC turning, including a dozen NUMERICAL CONTROL LATHES which are also equipped with motorised c-axis and y-axis tools. These use work ranges up to 600 mm in diameter with bar passage of 116 mm in diameter, for a turning length of up to 1200 mm, also supressed by bar feeders, steady rests and loop tailstocks.

Two MULTITASKING MAZAK INTEGREX I 200 S machining centres with 5 continuous axes and counter spindle have also been put into production.

The staff member in charge will supervise the CNC machines during all phases of the work, making sure that everything is carry out properly as well as checking the product sizes that are being made. The department heads will supervise the production cycle, and other qualified staff members will carry out some necessary and key operations.

Computer-based workpiece detection on CNC turning machines

Thanks to the computer-based workpiece detection, as well as monitoring cost centres that follow design specifications within the work cycle, our company ensures continuous checks of the production progress, carried out in real-time. We can also immediately track the finished processes or those still in progress.
